Kambo Stick Co-Op

Our Kambo is ethically sourced in partnership with the Matses tribe located in the Peruvian Amazon, ensuring respect, fairness, and sustainability throughout the process. The Matses people, who have long held a deep connection with the Amazon rainforest and its traditions, carefully harvest the secretion from the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog in a way that prioritizes the frog’s well-being. The frogs are gently handled, never harmed, and returned to their natural habitat after the collection process. This method honors the tribe’s ancestral knowledge while protecting the delicate balance of the rainforest ecosystem.

We believe in fair-trade practices, ensuring the Matses community receives direct support and fair compensation for their time, wisdom, and resources. Our relationship with the tribe is built on mutual respect and a shared commitment to preserving their cultural traditions. By sourcing Kambo ethically, we aim to empower the Matses people, creating sustainable opportunities that help protect their land and way of life while ensuring that the sacred practice of Kambo is honored.

When you choose our Kambo, you’re not only receiving a potent natural medicine but also supporting a model of ethical sourcing that respects both people and nature. Each step of our process reflects a deep respect for the traditions and environment that make this healing practice possible. We are proud to offer Kambo in a way that honors its origins, safeguards the rainforest, and uplifts the Matses community.
